This
year’s athletics day at SPS allowed all SPS’ers to shine brightly as they all
got to show off their enthusiasm and talent.
Students
participated in the 100, 200 and 400 metre sprints, as well as events including
shot put and discus. The students learnt that participating and giving their
best was what makes a true champion.

Many
Room 18 students flew into the record books, including Manoa who won the Year 6
boys 100 and 400 metres events.

The
day was a fantastic success which was topped off with a students versus teachers
relay race. The students managed to win the race and confirm their place as
true champions.
