The fun begins!
The good Samaritans of Room 18 & the entire senior school at SPS were rewarded with a fantastic end of year treat; a trip to ‘where the fun continues’- Rainbow’s End!

Gateway to NZ's magical kingdom! 


The lucky students who were chosen jumped at the chance and made the most of the fun and good times at NZ’s premier theme park.

Junior School students play 'Leapfrog Ultra'


Room 18, continued their Kai Hauora day demonstrating their understanding of working with others, developing relationships and the importance of physical exercise.

The students of Room 18, led by Otolose and Taina showed Rooms 1,4 and 12 the game of their own creation : Leapfrog Ultra.

The students of Room 18 showed their willingness to learn from others as well as share their own learnings with other students.


To cap the day off the entire school watched many of the Tongan students perform a cultural dance in excellent fashion.

Room 18: Kai Hauora Picnic Part 1

Room 18: 
Kai Hauora Picnic
The children prepare food together
Room 18, as a apart of their inquiry into ‘Being a Better Me,’ took part in the Kai Hauora day festival.



The children used their nutrition skills to make healthy veggie sandwiches, chicken and veggie wraps, as well as fruit kebabs,

The children prepared and shared all the food, showing that 'being a better me' involves working with, and looking after others.

Whaea Dagmar and Miss Lorenzo stopped by!

Flores and Elizabeth demonstrate excellent team-spirit in helping with cleaning-up.

The students ate their food in the beautiful sunshine along with the rest of SPS.
